CW5 Teresa H. Harris

Senior Petroleum Advisor

             CW5 Teresa Harris is the Senior Petroleum Advisor to the Army Petroleum Center (APC) Director; Chief of Operations, Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA-E); Department of the Army G-4 Staff; and Field Agencies on petroleum products, equipment, and directives.

             CW5 Harris is a native of Tennessee. In 1993 she entered active duty, attending Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Lee, VA as a 77F Petroleum Specialist followed by the H7 ASI Petroleum Vehicle Operator Course at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Her enlisted assignments include South Korea, Fort Bragg, NC, Germany, Kosovo, Iraq, and Millington Naval Air Station, TN (Recruiting duty) serving in a variety of duties and echelons up to the Division Support Command (DISCOM). She held the rank of Sergeant First Class prior to being selected for Warrant Officer Candidate school.

             In 2006, she attended Warrant Officer Candidate school at Fort Rucker, AL; followed by Warrant Officer Basic Course in 2007, at Fort Lee, VA as a 923A Petroleum Supply Technician. Her duty and assignments include Senior Petroleum Advisor to the I Corps G4 Directorate at JBLM, WA and supporting commands throughout INDOPACOM; Senior Petroleum Technician for the 593D Expeditionary Sustainment Command at JBLM, WA integrating strategic level enablers into operational and tactical logistics planning and exercises; Plans and Operations Officer at Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy-Korea in Daegu, South Korea supporting a Joint/Combined logistics operational command; Support Operations Petroleum Systems Technician for the 45th Sustainment Brigade at Schofield Barracks, HI and in support of the Joint Sustainment Command in Afghanistan; Petroleum Advisor to the USARPAC G4 Directorate at Fort Shafter, HI and support to the PACOM Joint Petroleum Office. She has deployed to various locations to include Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan and participated in exercises around the world. 
 
              CW5 Harris’s military education includes all levels of the Warrant Officer Education System, as well as numerous Army and Joint Logistics Courses. She holds a Masters in Homeland Security from American Military University, Charles Town, WV and a Bachelor of Social Science in History and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC. 
 
              Her military awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal (1 OLC); Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC); Joint Service Commendation Medal; Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC); Army Achievement Medal (5 OLC); Presidential Unit Citation; Army Superior Unit Award; National Defense Service Medal (1 BS); Kosovo Campaign Medal (1 BS); Iraq Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korea Defense Service Medal; and the NATO Medal (1 BS). She has earned the Senior Parachutist Badge; Air Assault Badge; U.S. Army Recruiter Badge (Gold); and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. She is also a recipient of the Order of Saint Martin and a Distinguished Member of the Quartermaster Corps.
