Colonel Paul R. Reyes

Colonel Paul R. Reyes is the Director of the Army Petroleum Center, Army Sustainment Command at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He was born and raised in Guam. He graduated from the University of Guam with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2002 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps through the University’s Army ROTC program. COL Reyes also holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

COL Reyes’ military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captain’s Career Course, Army Support Operations Course, and is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College.

COL Reyes has served in a variety of leadership positions and staff assignments. His first duty station was at Fort Hood, Texas, with the 215th Forward Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. In 2003, he served as a Platoon Leader; and deployed to Iraq in 2004. While deployed he transitioned to be the Battalion Maintenance Officer in support of 3-8 CAV.  Upon redeploying in 2005, COL Reyes transitioned to be the Supply Officer (S4) for 215th Brigade Support Battalion. In 2006, COL Reyes served on a Military Transition Team in Mosul, Iraq as a Logistics Advisor in support of the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division Iraqi Army.

In October 2007, COL Reyes assumed company command of Delta Forward Support Company, 215th Brigade Support Battalion in support of 6-9 CAV while deployed to Iraq’s Diyala Province. COL Reyes remained in command and again deployed the unit to Talafar, Iraq. He relinquished command in October 2009.

In January 2010, COL Reyes attended the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course at Fort Lee, Virginia. Following graduation, COL Reyes was assigned to the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California. He served as an Observer Controller in Operations Group. In November 2011, COL Reyes transitioned to be the Operations Group Supply and Support Operations Officer.

In January 2013, COL Reyes attended the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Upon graduation, COL Reyes was stationed in the Republic of Korea with the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Camp Henry where he served as the Supply and Services Officer. In June of 2014, COL Reyes transitioned to be the Battalion Executive Officer for 6th Ordnance Battalion in Camp Carroll, Korea.  In 2016, COL Reyes was assigned to the 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington where he served as a Plans Officer and later transitioned to Support Operations Materiel Management Chief. In 2020, COL Reyes deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan and served in the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan where he was assigned as a Director of Staff and Primary Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Interior. Upon re-deploying from Afghanistan in 2021, COL Reyes was assigned as a staff member of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command at Fort Eustis, Virginia. He assumed command of the 832d Transportation Battalion in June 2022. Following Battalion Command, COL Reyes was assigned to the Pentagon and served as the HQDA G-4 Strategic Mobility Deputy Division Chief.

COL Reyes’ awards include the Bronze Star Medal two oak leaf clusters, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal five oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal two oak leaf clusters, Joint Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal two oak leaf clusters, various service & unit Commendations, and the Combat Action Badge. COL Reyes is married to the former Jacquelyn Chiucinco. They have 2 children Alexa (14), and Brandon (12).
